This months theme is "Farewell" and was suggested by George. As always there are no guidelines or suggestions. Websters definition; FAREWELL Function: noun Date: 14th century 1 : a wish of well-being at parting : good-bye 2 a : an act of departure : leave-taking b : a formal occasion honoring a person about to leave or retire.

Self Portrait ~ January 2010 : Photography X 5 consists of Steven Collins, Taipei, Taiwan; Herb Sitz, Seattle, WA; George Flanigan, Gig Harbor, WA; Mike Alberts, Port Orchard, WA; and Tom Collins, Gig Harbor, WA. We formed for the express purpose of indulging our passion for photography, to stay connected to each other, to inspire each other and to stay motivated in our hobby of choice. Our goal is nothing more than to create a body of work based on a monthly theme selected randomly by one of the members. This months (our first month) theme is "Self Portrait".
