Abandoned and Forgotten

I've been traveling around the Pacific Northwest for quite a number of years. Mainly I've been interested in the rugged life that settlers endured as they traveled west and settled in areas along the east side of the Cascade mountains. Visiting old ghost towns, abandoned homesteads and farms and visiting the cemeteries of the families that made the journey. These photographs are of the places I've visited and the stories I've felt.
