Team Rust takes to a new past time; Riding the abandoned rails. In this instance we're in the panhandle of Idaho. Our karts are designed and built by Jeff and George and they operated perfectly. You'll have to excuse the out of tune singing of a great old Roger Miller song, but we just couldn't resist.
On the road. The trip begins here, in Gig Harbor, Washington. It'll take us about 7 or 8 hours to reach the destination, set up camp and prepare for the next days ride.
Making a few adjustments and fine tuning the ride.
No shortage of great scenery along the way, especially in The Palouse region.

After a 15 mile run we came on this mudslide and had to call it quits for this run. We inspected the line beyond this point on foot but discovered another blockage a half mile up the road.
